Edema, erythema, induration, increased pain too long a time, purulent exuate....
Exuate that went from sanguineous --> serosanguineous --> serous --> seropurulent --> purulent....
All points to an infection. Sigh... Guess what? My wound is infected.
How ironic. We nurses are always so careful about wound management with our patients, to the extent that we get horrified and scold them when we hear of any bad managements. But when it comes to our own wounds, we don't do as well. "Hack la..., anything... no time to slowly clean the wound".
No wonder they say, nurses health are worst then that of their patients...
